On the top there is an indication LED. Any other device (phone\/display) should <strong>not<\/strong> be connected to the PATpad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> The Hub is now <strong>scanning<\/strong> for available PATpads with LED blinking fast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Short press the button on the Hub to start <strong>pairing<\/strong> process. LED starts blinking very fast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> Short Press &#8220;0&#8221; on the PATpad to perform <strong>bonding<\/strong>. LED starts blinking very slowly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1584 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/target_on.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"301\" height=\"112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/target_on.png 365w, https:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/target_on-350x130.png 350w, https:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/target_on-300x112.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 301px) 100vw, 301px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Optional: you can now use your phone(s) and connect to the PATpad via app.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong> To <strong>switch off<\/strong> the Hub, press and hold the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>button for\u00a0<strong>2 seconds<\/strong>. Auto-off happens after\u00a0<strong>4<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>hours<\/strong>\u00a0of inactivity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.<\/strong> In order to pair the Hub with <strong>another PATpad <\/strong>or<strong> vice versa, reset both devices. <\/strong>Make sure that devices are<strong> switched on first.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Hub reset: press and hold button for <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">10 seconds<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>PATpad reset: press and hold <strong>white zero dot<\/strong>\u00a0for <strong>10 seconds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat the pairing procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note: it is not possible to switch off or reset the PATpad if connected to the Hub &#8211; this is protection against unwanted switch off when hand measurement of the landing result is needed. To switch off or reset the PATpad, do that first on the Hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>If manual measurement of the landing is necessary, make sure you are not pressing the result #4. Long press to the result #4 leads to the <strong>hard reset<\/strong> of the PATpad.<\/li>\n<li>In order to maximize the range, <strong>direct<\/strong> the PATpad arrow to the Hub.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PATpad - Hub | First Pairing\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dvHXzTjLGW4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>UART interface<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to use the Hub with another 3rd party system, the connection via UART needs to be established.
