{"id":1285,"date":"2024-02-08T12:20:25","date_gmt":"2024-02-08T11:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/patpad.eu\/?page_id=1285"},"modified":"2024-06-20T21:14:48","modified_gmt":"2024-06-20T19:14:48","slug":"instructions-patpad-2024","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/patpad.eu\/?page_id=1285","title":{"rendered":"Instructions &#8211; Display"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The display has three buttons on the back side: <strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1335\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/on_off.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"18\" height=\"20\" \/>, <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1336\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/up.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"20\" \/> <\/strong>and <strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1334\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/down.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"20\" \/>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pairing the Display with PATpad<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These steps are needed <strong>only for the first time<\/strong> or when <strong>changing<\/strong> the Display\/PATpad with another one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1.<\/strong> Turn-on the Display with short press on <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1335\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/on_off.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"18\" height=\"20\" \/> button on the back side. Make sure that PATpad is also <strong>on<\/strong> and <strong>in range<\/strong>. Any other device (phone) should <strong>not<\/strong> be connected to the PATpad at that stage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> The Display is now <strong>scanning<\/strong> for available PATpads with <strong>4-digits <\/strong>blinking. It represents <strong>last 4-digits of PATpad ID <\/strong>we can see in the app. Use <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1336\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/up.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"20\" \/> and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1334\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/down.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"20\" \/> buttons to switch between available IDs (PATpads). To switch off or reset the PATpad, do that first on the Display.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PATpad - Display | First Pairing\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7pgFbiOHf0U?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Normal operation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Display shows <strong>current result in the middle<\/strong> for 10 seconds. After that it moves to the <strong>right<\/strong> <strong>side<\/strong> of the Display. If <strong>zero<\/strong> is hit, there is a <strong>sound effect<\/strong>. There is also a measurement of the air <strong>temperature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1388\" src=\"http:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/normal-300x123.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"244\" height=\"100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/normal-300x123.jpg 300w, https:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/normal-350x143.jpg 350w, https:\/\/patpad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/normal.jpg 443w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 244px) 100vw, 244px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the PATpad is <strong>off<\/strong> or<strong> too far<\/strong> away from the Display, <strong>two digits <\/strong>will <strong>scroll <\/strong> in the middle.
